2021 in review: The Dove FM

Greetings from Don and Donna for The Dove FM!

We’re coordinating The Dove from Fort Nelson now so we can spend some time with our grandkids before they graduate, but we’re still in email contact with the churches at Slave Lake. Donna is still doing the weather and we’re getting back into ministering with music, doing a Christmas program at the senior’s apartment we’re staying in.

Now that we have cell service, listeners can text in their feedback. People are really liking the Morning Show because of the variety, and there’s a lot of stuff that you won’t hear anywhere else, so it’s nice hearing from listeners letting me know that they like what we’re doing.

We pray that the Covid situation would be resolved soon so we can get back to doing what we do. This coming summer, if there’s a trade show at Slave Lake, I’d like to go set up a booth. It’d be nice to get some banners made, and cards to hand out that have programming on it that would interest people. It’s good to get out there and let people know that we exist.

We’re praying and trying to get a board together, of people who want to do it because they want to serve God. There’s a lot of people being reached through our station, a lot of people who rely on the radio station for growth. People are getting saved because of it! I encourage people to give and to help out with the radio.
