Rejoice in the Lord always. I will say it again; Rejoice! Let your gentleness be evident to all. The Lord is near. Do not be anxious about anything, but in every situation, by prayer and petition, with thanksgiving, present your requests to God. And the peace of God, which transcends all understanding, will guard you hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.
Philippians 4:4-7
Greetings from CIAM and our community broadcast hub in Fort Vermilion. We often think about and pray for our CIAM listeners that are tuning in from La Crete, High Level and our Indigenous reserves in the area. From you responses and encouraging messages, we know that there are many of you listening both on FM, online and on your mobile phones We also know that many of you are missing our morning host, Mark Baer, that served God so faithfully for many years. His voice and Christ-centered messages will forever continue to speak to our hearts. We are looking forward to a new season and chapter of broadcasting in northern Alberta. We are praying and trusting that God will bring the right person(s) to serve as morning hosts or call in hosts for CIAM celebration hour at noon. Please note that you don’t need to be a radio person or technically trained to be involved, the CIAM team will help you and train you one step at a time (Click on this link for more info)
Dear Friends at CIAM, Just a note to let you know how much my husband and I enjoy listening to CIAM from morning to evening. We attended an event that was held and enjoyed hearing a little history of CIAM. So very interesting and what blessing your station is to both of us. We want to help you with expanding the stations so others can hear the Good news of the Gospel. May God bless you richly as you proclaim God’s Word. The songs and devotionals are a real blessing to both of us. Until He comes, From a CIAM listener
Raging Fires
We would ask you to pray specifically for CIAM’s broadcast locations, many of our northern communities are again facing raging forest fires and evacuation orders. Please pray for safety for the people and families directly affected, firemen involved and protection over broadcast equipment so that we can continue share the Good News when it needed the most. Please pray for the broadcast tower, building and transmitter at Foggy Mountain that has been damaged and need to be replaced soonest..
Full Power Upgrade
On a final note, CIAM is also looking forward to complete the full power upgrade of the CIAM broadcast in the area so that more listeners can be reached with a clearer signal in their homes and buildings. By faith we have purchased new antennas and transmitters, and are presently negotiation a reasonable co-location rental agreement for the towers site and soonest installation of equipment, climbing arrangements on site. Your support is much valued. Click to Support the upgrade
