Kelowna Announcement

It’s Harvest time in Kelowna, BC!

It’s harvest time in Kelowna, BC, and what a glorious season it is! A powerful tool that our dear heavenly Father is giving us for His harvest is called “Come to the Vine Media Society”! It all began on September 3rd when a CIAM Dinner was held at Trinity Church in Kelowna. Out of this gathering, a group of interested people formed and began to pray and communicate.

We have now had three meetings with an excited and diverse group that are passionate for God and the furtherance of His Kingdom using Christian radio. Prayer has been an important part of our meetings, and as a result there is a sweet sense of unity among the team members. There has been full agreement from the beginning that we desired to be called “The Vine” from John chapter 15, and after our second attempt with BC Societies, our name was granted. Praise God!

Next, the tower provider approved our collocation in West Kelowna on the same day our name was approved. Then, four board members came forward which enabled us to submit our application to officially form a BC Society. Finally, on November 28th, the society application was submitted and approved on that same day! Again, we were encouraged by God’s miraculous provision. If anyone is interested in being involved in the present group, please contact James and Dori Gladysz at: [email protected].

The initial cost to set up this radio station in Kelowna is in the ballpark of $20,000, so if anyone wishes to make a faith donation, please click “support” below and designate the donation for Kelowna. Tax deductible receipts will be issued.

We look forward to being part of distributing the Bread of Life to this very needy community and trust that God will continue to provide every step of the way as we look to Him, the author and finisher of our faith.
