Multilingual Broadcasting: Indigenous Broadcasting

Our Heart for Canada’s Indigenous Communities

CIAM has for many years been actively involved in bringing the Good News to remote and under-served communities in Canada, especially in an Indigenous context. It is a blessing and joy to see broadcast stations start where local Christians, young and old, can be involve in sharing the hope and love of Jesus through FM broadcasting.

There are CIAM stations in many Alberta Indigenous communities such as Wabasca, Peerless &Trout Lake, Loon Lake, Fort Chipewyan, Tall Cree, Fox Lake, John D’or, Chateh, Meander River, Bushe River (High Level). CIAM is also broadcasting in Telegraph Creek in Northern BC (where Al & Marilyn Bailey currently serve as missionaries) and the Acho Dene Koe First Nation community of Fort Liard in Northwest Territories (were Walter, Aileen and Joseph Pope currently serve as CIAM missionaries).

CIAM’s Indigenous Radio Programs

CIAM airs several locally produced Indigenous programs. We would ask for your prayers for the many faithful and committed Indigenous pastors, Bible teachers and missionaries that are involved in making this happened. Please pray that their messages will impact people for eternity here and now and also that the next generation of Indigenous believers will carry on production of new content centred on the Word of God.

We are always looking for more Indigenous programming, so please contact CIAM if you like to get involved or would like to support a start of a new broadcast in an Indigenous community.
