The Light 98.5 FM in Vanderhoof is moving!
After 15 years in our studio up a long flight of stairs above the bakery in Vanderhoof, in the New Year, The Light will be moving our studio to a basement office on main street. It is only a half basement so it has windows looking out onto the street with better access and visibility. We plan to host a radio-a-thon in the New Year with an open house at the studio.
We had a booth at the Community Pumpkin Walk again this year. We handed out candy, literature and invitations to our kids programming.
Sizi Sk’entsi had continued on Monday night and the Morning Show has been running Tuesday to Thursday with a break in the summer and in October (Host went to Africa!).
We give the Lord thanks for His provision through the year. Our community has been very supportive. Each of us on the board have been approached regularly by people who express their appreciation for the programming.
We increased our power to about 400 watts in the spring which made a noticeable difference. We pray that the ministry of CIAM may continue to grow in the year ahead.
So shall My word be that goes forth from My mouth; It shall not return to Me void, But it shall accomplish what I please, And it shall prosper in the thing for which I sent it.
