The Winds Obey Him!

Dear Brethren,

I have been meditating on Mark 4 specifically verses 35 – 40:

He said to the disciples “Why are you so afraid? Have you still no faith?” And they were filled with great awe and said to one another, “Who then is this, that even the wind and the sea obey Him?”

The opposite of peace is fear and anxiety. It is clear in God’s word that even in uncertain times we are commanded to not be anxious or fearful but to continue to trust His omnipotence and wisdom. It seems that the wind and the waves immediately obeyed. I want to learn to obey as quickly.

We represented Sunrise Radio at the Fort St John combined churches mission conference. It was a busy but worthwhile effort. One volunteer signed up for the mentoring program and we met several supporters, encouraging believers and handing out literature. Several were interested in having one of our solar radios. Our next outreach was at the FSJ trade show April 11-13 (the largest trade show north of Vancouver). We had a Sunrise Radio display featuring Tribal Trails.

The solar radios are being distributed at the hospital and care homes.

We are very grateful for the Lord’s provision Thank you for standing with us in broadcasting the Good News, in your community, thank you for your prayers.

Since our last newsletter some highlights and answers to prayer were:

Praise for:

Prayer for:

·  The radio station needs volunteers, namely hosts for our 3 live air programs.

·  We are planning the maintenance trip to Telegraph Creek and hope to make progress on the tower shed. Please pray for wisdom and traveling mercies.

·  We are encouraged to see men and women being delivered from drugs and alcohol by the power of the Gospel and pray for continued revival.
