Greetings from The Light FM in Vanderhoof, BC!
Greetings from The LIGHT FM! In August we realized that we were being hit with extra expenses, including money needed to boost power and upgrade equipment in the studio. Terry had to do some modem repairs as well. We are looking at some cheaper options for our studio needs in the near future.
We decided our next step was to do a radio-a-thon, so we set a plan for the second week of September. We were amazed as we got going, that the goal for each day was reached. We ended up achieving our goal of $10,000.00.
Through our radio-a-thon, we heard from people who really enjoy the station. Some are shut-ins and find the radio a lifeline. Farmers also love to listen in throughout the day.
One the pastors who was doing Shepherd’s Voice passed away, please pray for the Glad Tidings Church. Thank you again to all our listeners for your prayers and support!
