Greetings from Harvest FM!
Greetings to all of our supporters and listeners in Southern Alberta.
2022 has been a year full of blessings and at the same time, we have faced many challenges. We have had some severe disruptions to the Harvest FM broadcast.
In the early summer, our broadcast tower was struck by lightning, which caused damage to our transmitter, requiring lengthy, extensive and costly repairs and upgrades. Then in the early winter, the antenna had ice build up, which shut down the broadcast completely.
We later found out that the cable connections had water damage and corrosion, and needed immediate repair and replacement. We are very thankful to the local electricians, Jared and Curtis, that helped so diligently with the repairs and climbing of the tower.
It has been a great encouragement to hear from listeners during this time, offering their help and support. Truly we couldn’t do this without our community and generous support and prayers from our listeners. Despite these challenges, Harvest FM is wholeheartedly committed to continue broadcasting the GOOD NEWS and sharing the reason for our Hope, Jesus Christ!
