2022 at Victory FM 107.1

Greetings from Victory FM!

At our AGM, Walter told us that at the core of each transmitter is a quartz crystal. Its frequency of vibration is modified by the broadcast voice.

Jesus said on Palm Sunday, when told to rebuke his disciples, that if they kept quiet, the stones would cry out. Sometimes, across the world, voices are silenced, but through radio, the stones cry out and God is praised.

After two break-ins, a basement flood and ice crystals indoors, VictoryFM had to move out of our former studio. Our new studio is closer to the tower and much smaller, allowing space for a desk and our files, but no visitor store front. We continue to broadcast on 107.1FM while 100.1FM is off air until a new tower can be erected. Mark Sorell continues to do live hosting twice a week.

Christine, my wife, and Daphne, a board member, took on the task of updating our contacts list, adding email where possible and thanking supporters. We were encouraged by the variety of people who listened, at home or in the car; some had lost us and missed us with the frequency change. We look forward to increased power from 107.1FM by Christmas and being back on air with 100.1FM by Summer of 2023. We are thankful for two new board members and for CIAM in providing programming even through all the upheaval of our last year. Thank you for praying and supporting us.
