Our Heart Behind MyStory

Storytelling is a special medium people have been using to connect with one another consistently throughout time. Everyone has a story to share and each story can reach other people in countless different ways. The MyStory platform allows for personal stories to be shared to people of all different walks of life through the power of media.

Through sharing their stories, people are able to connect with others they may not have come across in day to day life, and develop a deeper connection. These stories and connections lead to conversations, and build communities. Listeners who feel as though they are alone in their struggles or feel they have no one who understands them will be able to find others like them through these shared stories. 

The best part of storytelling is that anyone can participate, there are roles for everyone! MyStory is an opportunity for people to share their voice, to whatever extent they feel comfortable.

How it Works

People are able to share their stories by recording or videos, but if they aren’t comfortable with that, they can write their stories down and someone else who may not be ready to share their own story yet can voice it instead. And if there are people who aren’t ready to contribute in those ways, stories always need listeners! 

As My Story continues to develop and grow I ask that you pray that people are able to open themselves up and be willing to share the stories that are brewing in their hearts, and that the stories shared can reach the people that need to hear them. I hope that the Lord is revealed to the listeners in every single story whether or not He is mentioned by name.
