An Update From Guy Morin
We had a holiday this summer whilst taking care of our grandson who is almost 4 years old and we quickly found that it wasn’t so much of a holiday after all – lol.
This year at Gohnee Nazoo has been uneventful in many ways as the busyness of work and life seems to take so much of our time, we are sorry to say. Both Walter and Aileen Pope and Noreen and myself have been very busy this summer getting ready for winter’s soon coming. Walter as you already know is also very busy with everything associated with CIAM duties. Up here in the NT we only really get about 5 months of good weather with the rest being cold, snow, and freezing.
This past year though, Walter was able to record and transfer a previously recorded copy of the Gospel of John in the South Slavey Language, and put it on the radio for the community that knows and understands the Slavey language.
We struggle with trying to find people that are willing to be committed to help out with the station, but we will pray and leave this in God’s hands. We are praying that we will be able to gather a few people that are willing to help out so that we can create more programming that is more directed to local content.
