It has been an eventful year!
In January we moved into a new studio with easier access on the main drag of Vanderhoof. Terry spent many hours running wires and getting things set up. Down time was a minimum and we were back on with the Morning Show almost immediately. Maryann was there to help with the move, donating a beautiful desk for the reception area. However, a month or so later, she was on the move down to Powell River so she handed over the weather reports and the books to Collien Flanagan. Maryann is still involved in the board, however, and helps wherever she can.
We participated in our Pumpkin Walk again this year, handing out a number of tracts, QR code stickers and candy to the close to 1000 participants.
We are presently in the middle of our Radio-A-Thon to raise funds for next year’s expenses.We had our transmitter go down a few weeks ago but fortunately Terry was able to swap in the old one and send the other off for repairs. Again, down time was only a couple of hours.
We thank the Lord for His goodness in supplying the needs of the station and the many volunteer hours put in. Praise the Lord.
