A Vision Comes to Fruition!

Come to the Vine Media Society becomes the first Christian community broadcast ever in Kelowna! By God’s grace and with the support of the CIAM team and faithful listeners we are now online with “The Vine” and excited to move forward with expanding our team and promoting the broadcast. It is such a blessing to help people load the CIAM Radio app on their smartphones and see their faces light up when they see the Vine logo for our own station right here in Kelowna!
There is an extra special story to share involving an elderly couple living in Vernon who have been praying for many years for a Christian radio station to be established in the Okanagan Valley. This couple’s prayer has led them to faithfully sending in monthly financial support to CIAM designated specifically for the Kelowna station startup even before we formed a Society. What a joy it has been to share with them what God has done in bringing together a committed team and starting the new Vine broadcast. Praise God for what has been accomplished to date and we continue to press on toward CRTC approval of the Vine on FM radio.
In John 15:5, Jesus said, I am the Vine; you are the branches. If you remain in me and I in you, you will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing. Matthew 11:28 Jesus says, “Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
We are so thankful to all of you who continue to pray and support the Vine financially. Please continue to pray for our Vine team here in Kelowna as we promote the new station, and that we would press on faithfully seeking God for wisdom to form an expanding effective ministry that is both an encouragement for believers and an outreach to those searching for a certain hope.
