Galatians 6:2 Amplified Bible

We are grateful to the CIAM family and truly appreciate your prayers over the past year. The kind words and encouragement I have received through the ups and downs of this year was a blessing to us.

This summer has been a season of growth, learning, and deepening faith for me at CIAM. From delving into the rich teachings of the Book of John (at a local BSF study) to being encouraged by the CIAM app, I’ve found myself more connected to my spiritual journey. Amidst all this, I’ve had the privilege to mentor others, contribute to new projects, and prepare for what lies ahead.

Mentoring Others, Strengthening My Faith

As I embarked on transitioning from mentoring to mentor coach in January, I discovered that the act of guiding not only nurtures the mentee but also strengthens one’s own faith. Through the 1&1 Mentorship program, I’ve been able to share my experiences and spiritual learnings, which in turn has deepened my faith. Designing the volunteer presentation kit and branding for this initiative was an exciting challenge that combined creativity with purpose. It’s always rewarding to see how design can help bring a vision to life and communicate a message effectively.

One of the highlights of my coaching journey was working with Power To Change and learning to build relationships with mentees. Additionally, meeting new CIAM mentors, watching and learning from them has been very encouraging. Attending the TMM spring Mentor meeting and hearing other share their joruney further enlightened my belief in the power of mentorship as a ministry.

Designing to Elevate Awareness and Outreach

This summer, I had the pleasure of contributing to the launch of The Vine brand. Creating branding elements that reflect the core values and mission of The Vine was a rewarding experience.

Working alongside the CIAM team on the promo programs for CIAM locations has been another highlight. The float banners, designed for trade shows and parades, is an innovative way to increase visibility and engage the community. I also had the opportunity to create a special brand insert for solar radios intended for outreach in prisons, senior homes, and hospitals—a tool that I believe will make a meaningful impact.

With Melissa M on maternity leave, I’ve been covering some of her duties, which includes updating and maintenance of our websites, newsletters and CIAM’s annual gathering messaging. It’s been a busy but fulfilling time, and I’m grateful for the opportunity to expand my skill set.

Looking Forward

As I look ahead, I’m particularly excited about the upcoming TheChoice platform which has been much-anticipated. This initiative will be an interactive platform to share music and stories of encouragement, and I can’t wait to see it come to fruition.

Going forward, I ask for your prayers as I enter the busiest time of the year, with the CIAM’s Christmas updates. It’s a significant undertaking, and I’m eager to ensure that it reflects the heart and soul of the CIAM ministry.

I’ve been blessed with opportunities to contribute meaningfully to our work at CIAM. As we move forward, I look forward to continuing this journey and sharing more of the enlightening stories from our team.

Keeping you in our prayers,

– Melissa & Rawlin
