Praise & Prayer
- Praise God for the full power CRTC approval for CIAM’s broadcast locations in High Level, Grand Prairie, and Hines Creek, AB & Fort St. John, Dawson Creek and Vanderhoof, BC & Prince Albert and Osler/Warman, SK. Please pray for finances ($10,000/location) and successful final installations.
- CIAM’s support center is moving to a new location in Edmonton. We would greatly appreciate your prayers as we transition from the old office to the new one, especially in regards to the office lease, and in moving the broadcast servers, production and recording equipment, and heavy furniture.
- There is an urgent need to build an effective and stable virtual broadcast and storage platform with redundancy to accommodate the growth of both CIAM’s FM and online broadcasts. Please pray for wisdom for our team as we finalize the transition from physical to virtual servers. Please consider supporting the cost of the local virtual redundancy server ($10,000).
- We thank God for the 24/7 Chinese broadcasts that air in both Cantonese and Mandarin here and around the world. Please continue to hold Simon Wong and the Chinese Outreach leadership team in prayer as they provide direction in this impactful broadcast (chineseoutreach.ca). We’re looking for volunteers that can join the team to help with new program production, and technical support.
- Thank God for the new CIAM Mobile App. We are also very grateful for the CIAM PODCAST PLAYER where listeners have full access to all present and archived programs (see ciamradio.com). Please pray for full integration of all our new and existing programs into the player.
- Praise the Lord for new and very meaningful relationships with content creators this year, and for new music content being added to our broadcasts. We’re pursuing deeper relationships to encourage content creators on an ongoing basis.
- We’re very thankful for the CIAM video team who has produced many new videos this year. The response has been great as they’ve effectively been used on our websites, presentations and online platforms. We ask for your prayers for our video team as they work on new productions, including the CIAM 20th anniversary video.
Coming Soon in 2023
- The full launch of the new interactive CHOICE broadcast platform. Pray for CIAM’s engineering team, content production and the technical infrastructure.
- Pray for the current full-time missionaries, their financial support and encouragement as they serve, as well as our many faithful and dedicated volunteers. Pray for a missionary to join our team in the capacity of Counselling & Mentorship Lead.
- CRTC approval and financial support of new CIAM broadcast locations in Kelowna and the Okanagan area, Yellowknife and Fort Nelson.
- Please pray for protection over our broadcast equipment, including transmitter, antennas, broadcast servers and stable broadcasting on CIAM’s existing FM stations across Canada.
- Please consider supporting the New Development vision, which will help needy communities that don’t have sufficient financial support to start a Christian radio. The cost of getting one station on air is $20,000.
