Strengthening Bonds Through Prayer and Broadcast
“A family that prays together stays together.”
Greetings to the CIAM family, Refresh Radio in Boston Bar has run very smoothly this past year. We trust hearts have been touched by the broadcasts. My main connection on a weekly basis has been the Friday morning fellowship and prayer time.As the saying goes “a family that prays together stays together”.I know it is not always possible for everyone to connect in this way, due to our different circumstances, but it seems that the world’s situation calls for more focus on prayer.

Yes I know the word says pray without ceasing, it’s just like breathing which we never stop doing, but when we exercise more we automatically breathe more. So it is in the spirit, we can exercise our will to more frequent prayer. As this world and our situations get more intense we can use our free will to participate in more earnest praying.Jesus understands our frailty when it comes to praying as He said to his disciples ” the spirit is willing but the flesh is weak”. Then again he also said ” pray that ye enter not into temptation”. The temptation may be fear, anxiety or doubt, the list goes on but let us press on in His strength.
Looking forward to our Edmonton gathering!!
