Innovation is in the air! CIAM Radio broadcasts to a population of 200,000 people living in Indigenous communities, cities and rural Canada spanning from Boston Bar, BC to Prince Albert, SK – and Taber, AB to Fort Liard, NT. Almost 20 years ago, it started with one transmitter, now there are 30 transmitters covering much of Western Canada – each one “Bringing Good News”!
Now, listeners from all over the world find CIAM on the Internet and listen online using the mobile app. It’s amazing how God has gifted us with technological innovations to use and share with others for the building up of the growing body of Christ. CIAM has, from the beginning been in collaboration with others who share the vision of reaching the world with Good News. One significant example of this teamwork innovation, is working with a supporter offering his company’s cloud computing services which will significantly streamline our hardware infrastructure at the Edmonton support centre. Additionally we will be moving our web hosting and other development to this new cloud computing platform.
Another example of our vision to broaden the scope of the CIAM ministry is through the launch of the all new ciammedia.com website. Here you will find all about the different branches of involvement current and future for CIAM. Notably, stories from our community broadcast locations and CIAM Missionaries are there to take in.
