The Dove

It’s hard to believe The Dove started over 15 years ago. It is a real blessing to be part of the CIAM Radio family. We are very thankful for the ongoing support that we receive both technically and through the fellowship we have with one another.

The Dove exists to share the Good News over the airwaves in the Slave Lake area including Wabasca, Red Earth and Peerless Lake. We are the only Christian station in the area and we have a strong focus on local Indigenous content and languages. We are encouraged when we hear back from our listeners who especially enjoy hearing local musicians, such as Shavina Gladue, Ray Laboucan in Cree, and Mennonite local talents too.

Many comments that the Cree hour with the late Fred Evans and Matthew Auger with Building Bridges are highlights of the week, not to mention the Low German “Plat Dietch” programs on Thursday nights. We thank God for the multi-ethnic diversity of our community which is a preparation that every nation, tribe, peoples and languages, one day will be standing before the throne and before the Lamb, Jesus Christ.

Until then the Dove 107.5 FM will continue to share the Gospel in our northern Alberta areas. It is because of your kind and generous support & prayers, that this is made possible. Please consider a year end donation to support the Dove.
