Devotional: Seasons of Change

Dear Friends,

We trust that you are well. It is clearly hunting season in our neighbourhood. There are plenty of shots shaking our house lately! Actually, we have seen 2 big moose, deer and a wolf in our yard recently. We were amazed to see a bald eagle as well!

Is there a go-to passage for you lately? I’d say the passage that has blessed me the most lately is Psalm 2. There are so many good reminders of who rules the nations, the Father-heart of God, service and what it means to make Him my refuge.

“He said to me, “You are my son;  today I have become your father. Ask me, and I will make the nations your inheritance, the ends of the earth your possession.” 

Psalm 2:7-8

Praise & Prayer

1. For a responsive chapel and info meeting at Nipawin Bible College Oct 24. Five students who showed strong interest in the Reach Philippines team so far.

2. For the lady that we prayed for 2 months ago got baptized on Sunday at our church!

3. For good conversations with several of the homeless this past week and opportunities to pray for them.

4. For the encouraging comments yesterday from a man that says he often listens to me on Victory FM. I find it uplifting personally to declare the truth of God along with inspiring tunes.

5. We have 2 out of 5 applications for the Reach Team. Pray that the remaining three will arrive soon.

6. For the repairs that seem to be multiplying lately.

7. For the upcoming training for the Reach Team at PRBI Nov 17, 18. We need insight and wisdom as we consider taking teams with the current global situation.

8. For God’s anointing and blessing on the radio show.
